Day 1

Lima

Arrival in Lima, assistance, and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation in Lima. Meals: None.

Day 2

City Tour Colonial & Modern Lima - Dinner Show.

In the afternoon visit the most important sites of Lima and wrap yourself in its charm and tradition. Visit the impressive historical center and go through by the Main Square, The Government Palace, City Hall, The Archbishop’s Palace and the Cathedral. You will visit the most representative Convent in Lima that displays the largest monumental group of Colonial Art found in America, here you will see and explore the architectual set of religious buildings. Finally, take a tour through the financial and residential San Isidro district and enjoy an excellent view of the Pacific Ocean from Miraflores, the most touristic district of our city. At night delight, yourself with a pleasant dinner at one the best tourist restaurants in Lima and enjoy a colorful folkloric show that represents tradition and cultural expressions of the Peruvian coast, mountains, and jungle. Day 3

Lima/Ica – Sandboarding & Overflight Nazca Lines.

Very early in the morning pick up from the hotel to start the adventure day tour to Ica, located 36 km from Lima in a 4 hours trip. At your arrival, you will visit the Huacachina Lagoon, one of the few natural oases in the country, which combines landscape, dunes, palm trees and huarangos, Ideal for perfect pictures. Then you will have the opportunity to experiment an exciting tour along the desert and “fly“ above the golden dunes of this breathtaking place, feel the rush of adrenaline, that will make this experience an adventure you will never forget. The adventure begins on the shores of the lake, from this point you will be driven in a buggy through the dunes. Here we ride the buggy through the desert up and down the dunes. The driver will make several stops so you can appreciate the scenery and take pictures. Then the vehicle will go towards the top of a large dune where the guide-instructor will show you the art of sandboarding. Once you are on top of the Dunes you can enjoy this sport safely. After this adventure, you will be transferred to the airport of Ica to overfly the enigmatic Nazca Lines in a small aircraft and discover their mystery. In this amazing tour, you will gaze these giant figures that the ancient Peruvians left marked on the vast Nazca prairie, proof of the wisdom of our genius ancestors. Dr. Maria Reiche, German archeologist who dedicated her life to studying the lines described them as the largest astronomical calendar in the world. We will fly over these mysterious images drawn in the sand that represent several animal shapes such as a spider, a monkey, a dog, a humming bird, a condor, amongst others. Their large dimensions reach 50 ft. to 985 ft. in length and one-foot depth. After this enigmatic experience, you will take lunch in a typical restaurant and then return to Lima in a 4 hours trip. Day 4

Lima/Cusco – City Tour & Archaeological Park.

At the arranged time transfer from your hotel in Lima to the airport for your flight to Cusco Imperial City. At arrival assistance, and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, admire the wonderful pre-Hispanic and colonial legacy of Cusco city, an interesting journey where you will learn about Koricancha (Temple of the Sun), ancient place of worship to the Sun, God of the Incas where the convent of Santo Domingo was built, gaze the beauty of Cusco city´s Main Square and admire the most representative sculptures and paintings of Cusco´s Art inside the cathedral. Touring the city suburbs, we will visit the Inca complexes of Kenko, Tambomachay, Puka Pukara and the impressive Sacsayhuaman Fortress, strategically built on a hill overlooking Cusco, famous for its external walls built with huge stones cut and assembled with stunning precision. Day 5

Cusco/Sacred Valley – Mountain Bike.

Today the adventure will take you into the hills where you can see the most spectacular sceneries in an endless valley; this will be an unforgettable experience. You will travel to Chequerec city in Chinchero where you will start the bike adventure toward the archaeological site of Moray. Continue the tour to the village of Maras and pedaling downhill towards Maras. Return to Cusco and rest of the day at leisure. Accommodation in Cusco. Meals: Breakfast.

Day 6

Cusco/Sacred Valley – Rafting Chuquicahuana & Zip Line

Today we continue with the adventure trip with adrenaline pumping rapids Class II & III on the Chuqui section of the river. Our Professional River guides will provide you with all the proper Rafting equipment such as helmet, wet suit, spray jacket, paddle and self-bailing raft. After a comprehensive safety talk you will drive 10 minutes more to Chuqui then we will be running exciting class II & III. You will spend about two hours floating time. Afterward, we finish de rafting at Cusipata River Camp “where a good hot lunch will be served. To end this exciting day, you will enjoy the Zip-Line in the Sacred Valley; it will give you the opportunity to fly over this magical and magnificent valley in a safe and fun way. The zip line has lines or cables. To get to the first line you must hike with a via ferrata system to give maximum security and confidence to all adventurous people. Day 7

Cusco: Km 82/Huayllabamba Or Lluncachimpa (6 Hrs)

Here we begin our emotional adventure towards the Andes, The Inca Trail is an extraordinary and unforgettable trail that will take you to the most incredible and picturesque places, as well as the magnificent architectural legacy that we have inherited from the Incas. We start off by taking a bus to the 82nd kilometer of the railway line (2550 masl), a place where we begin our trail; later after the last coordinations, we begin the trek to the mountain top to Miskay or Llactapata where we have our first meal. We will visit the Llactapata complex and then the Huayllabamba community (3100 masl). We continue with the last part of this climb to Lluncachimpa or Huayllabamba campsite for a nice meal. Overnight at the Campsite. Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner

Day 8

Lluncachimpa/Llulluchapampa/Pacaymayu/Chaquicocha (7 Hrs)

Wake up early and witness one of the most beautiful wonders of this Journey, admire a beautiful Andean Sunrise from our campsite, later we resume our tour through Lluncachimpa Valley (3300 masl), continue our climb to Llulluchapampa (3850 masl) and view an impressive panoramic scene of the snowy and architectural surroundings on the way to Warmihuañusca (4200 masl), highest point of the trail. After a brief rest, we descend to Pacaymayu Valley (3500 masl) to later ascend again to the Paso de Runcuracay (3950 masl). From this area we initiate another descend where we get to know the archeological complex of Sayacmarca, finally, we arrive our second campsite located in Chaquicocha (3650 masl). Overnight at the Campsite. Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner

Day 9

Chaquicocha/Wiñayhuayna (7 Hrs)

This day is the easiest day of the Trek, our tour takes us through warm tropical forests known as the Yunga, here we can observe stunning landscapes such as the important archaeological complexes along the way; We will visit the archeological complexes of Phuyupatamarca (3600masl) and Wiñayhuayna (2650 masl), here we find our last campsite. Overnight at the Campsite. Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner

Day 10

Wiñayhuayna – Machupicchu /Cuzco (5 Hrs)

Early morning dawn, still under the starlight and lantern in hand (4:30 hrs), we resume our journey heading to Inti Punku or Puerta del Sol (Sun door) (2780 masl), a place where we can see the Sunrise over Machu Picchu, simply an amazing and breathtaking experience; then descend to Machu Picchu (2400 masl) to have our guided tour of the Citadel. Return to Cusco and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation in Cusco. Meals: Breakfast …end of the Inca Trail Trek.
